Quick’ are a self-described 'newgrass' band based in Scotland. Arts magazine 'The Skinny' describe their sound as "incorporating progressive and intricate concepts played through traditional acoustic instrumentation paired with a heartbeat of honest lyrics and the cleanest of harmonies".
Starting life in January 2016, Quick's very first live performance resulted in them being named as winners of the Danny Kyle Open Stage, an integral event as part of Celtic Connections Festival in Glasgow. The band have since played a number of high profile shows and venues; including Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall and a headline show at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut. Their debut EP 'This I know' was described as “a beautiful collection of songs which stride that line between melancholy and inspiriting” - Scots Whay Hae.
Quick are now in 2020 with brand new music, recently released this summer, and a fresh live performance with a bigger sound but still equally as captivating.
